I finished this one up yesterday. It's a simpler kit with a smaller parts count, despite the fact that you can pretty much build it one of three ways. Nonetheless, it's a pretty decent kit and goes together pretty well. I did this one in Model Master Honduras Maroon and Tamiya TS-38 Gunmetal straight from the can. Everything was cleared with Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior and chassis are Rustoleum 2X Satin Canyon Black with Rustoleum Matte Clear. The cargo area is Honduras Maroon as well, with black, khaki and matte metallic bronze craft paints dry-brushed to try to get the wood pattern and cleared with pledge floor gloss. The flathead was painted a mixture of two different green craft paints to try to get close to, I'm guessing based on my Google research, the factory color. Again, a simpler kit, but a very enjoyable quicker build. Thanks for looking!

Great looking color combination and the finish is perfect. The White Walls make it look like a companies show piece.

Great looking truck. The name sake on your truck used to have a law office on the model train club layout I used to belong to. Got a lot of compliments, lol. Really like the color combination. Good job.

This is an older thread I just found.  Nicely done.  Love the color.  I have a 40 Ford Sedan Delivery coming up on the bench real soon.

Thanks Bob! I've taken some outdoor pics since then, and the color really pops in the sun.

The red is a perfect background to the decal colors. Tasty color scheme, and such a clean build. Another fine example of what a modest kit can become. BTW, Jairus Watson did a fantastic article a few years back showing how to detail one of these, and he really breathed new life into the kit, with simple scratch-building and a keen eye. Worth looking up, it was in Model Cars magazine , of course!

Is that supposed to be a spare tire peeking out from under the rear deck? Nice build BTW.

Ha! Yep, that was one of the details that Jairus Watson showed how to correct in the article I mentioned above. Until then, I never knew what that was supposed to be! The deliveries had a sort of false floor so you had a nook for the spare tire.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to look that up later as I'd like to do another down the road sometime.

You know, I wasn't really sure at the time of the build, lol. I just treated it as a panel with a bulge to contain the spare tire. With Rusty's info I will probably go back and touch it up with some Rubber Black paint.
