I would however be delighted to see any '50s or '60s vintage Dodge half ton. Preferably one of these. Steve
Deuces ll Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 How's about a '46-'48 Power Wagon with all the goodies???....

I'll take what i can get. Just not in 1.18th scale. They take up way to much room on the shelf. I've kinda given up hope of a stryene kit ever happening

Painted Black Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 This would be nice... just don't like the side trim, makes the truck look bent..

CapSat 6 Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 You know I keep stumping for this...we need a '62-'71 Dodge Pickup kit. I believe I read that Moebius / Model king is doing a ramp for their Ford truck kits soon. The Fords seem to be doing well sales-wise. I think a '60's era Dodge pickup kit would sell surprisingly well.
RichCostello Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 I'd vote for any of the 57 Oldsmobiles, I think they were the best looking cars to come out of 1957.
Richard Bartrop Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 I could go for the '57 Olds, though one of these I could really go for.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 Put me down fer all of 'em. Dem's my kinda vehicles.

Richard Bartrop Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Of course, I'd really love to see a decent kit of one of these, but I'm told I shouldn't talk such foolishness.
Deuces ll Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Yeah, I can see putting a Hemi in one of those..... ???

Steve Expand Model sales in general have probably gone from I’m guessing 25% of “kids” (mostly boys) building and buying several a year in the 60’s and 70’s to maybe under 5% in the 2000’s. Video games, Lego, and a lot of boring new cars That all look the same are all responsible as is the demise of ToysRus and Walmart selling kits and Hobby shops disappearing every day. If there is any hope of reaching the younger market they need to find a way to reach them or you may see mostly re-issues and diecast cars to keep them in business for the next 20 years which by then all our old unbuilt kits will end up on Ebay all at once and drive prices down.
