Hi Ron,
The magazine has had some difficulties in the recent past and is in the process of rebooting.  Gregg Hutchings still owns the magazine.  There's a new team in place here at MCM, myself included, that's behind the "new and improved" magazine.

MODEL CARS Magazine is published bimonthly, as in, 6 times a year.

Received the new issue today! Looks like a really good issue, too.

And I received my Shadow racing team book by Pete Lyons today from Amazon. So, its been a really good day. ?

Hi Lee,

Issue #207 has already been sent out, so if you subscribe at this time, you'll start with Issue #208.  You'll be able to get issue #207 either from one of our dealers, or as a back issue ordered through our web site.

Got issue #207 yesterday and a quick thumb through looks as good as always. Lots of different subjects. Always like the model reviews but the photos were funky looking. Great to see a new mag! Good job to everyone involved.

I haven't rec'd the latest issue yet and I no longer have the bag the last issue was mailed in but I know my subscription still had outstanding issues. I can't remember when it runs/ran out.  Is there any way of checking the status of my subscription?

I subscribed on November 9 through the website and Paypal processed my money - will I be getting issue #207 or will my subscription begin with the next issue?

I suspect I already know the answer but would like to confirm.  There are no hobby shops in my area that carry magazines so I am particularly interested.

Hi Cliff,

Subscriptions start with the next issue following your subscription registration, not the current issue.  So your subscription will start with #208.

I can confirm Mr. Geiger's pithy yet comprehensive and expansive assessment.  No Monte parts.
