The Brush Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Hi, Here`s the finished Lonestar, There are some build pics in wip section. Airbrushed red enamel, black frame, revell headache rack, Kit chrome & with alclad chrome & some bare metal foil. Decals are homemade. Ali tubing for the stacks. These are nice kits to build. Thanks for having a look.
doorsovdoon Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Very nice, awesome detail. I like all the chrome it has, very bling. The front reminds me of the Chrysler PT Cruiser, pretty nice feature.
TECHMAN Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 ??? Exceptional build!!! I too like all the "bling"!!! Had to have been an O/O !!!! DJ
vincen47 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Looks nice! Glad to see a Lonestar on the forum.
tbill Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Very nice work on this rig! The opening doors are a great touch, these kits have such a nice interior that disappears once stuffed in the cab. Sharp looking rig.
Jim B Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Nicely done. All the extra details are just great.
kilrathy10 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 (edited) Dude!!! That is a good build... Nice work opening the doors... Very nice... You even got the hood to fit properly... Something that is not easy... I've tried but never succeeded... I will have to check your WIP thread... This is a beautiful build... Nice touches all the way around... Love the decals... hct728(Bob) Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Beautiful! Lots of added details and enhancements! Nice job on the opening doors, so neatly done, and really needed to see the detailed interior.
Doug 1061 Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 That came up very nice. I have thought about getting one of these but that is as far as it has got. The look of the Lonestar still has not grown on me, that grille reminds me of a cow puncher on an old steam locomotive. Nice job on opening the doors also. You should get some outdoor pics of it, the red and chrome would really pop.
mikemodeler Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Nice work on that rig and getting all the shiny bits looking good!
