avidinha Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I found this kit for $11 so I figured I'd go ahead and build it. The stripe decals weren't great so I ended up stripping it, painting it red, taping off the stripes then painting it black. Other than that, it went together well.
Classicgas Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Nice. I have mine posted on here, spent over 20 hours on pin stripe decals.
David G. Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Great work on the striping. You came up with a clever work-around for a difficult task. David G.
drodg Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Best Batmobile ever ! Looks very good, I just finished the Lego version of the 66 Batmobile. Not quite as accurate as yours but it was fun. Congratulations.
doorsovdoon Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I love the 60's Batmobile, very nice work on this. I had a die cast toy of this as a kid, it had a mechanism for shooting plastic rockets out those pipes but we used to use lit cigarette matches instead! ..outside of course, but still dangerous, it caused a couple of garden fires I remember! Lol
1959scudetto Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Very nice - the best looking Batmobile ever! When I was a seven year old boy in 1966 this Batmobile together with the Monkeemobile was the diecast everybody wanted to have!
kruleworld Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 awesome build. i wondered the best way to do those stripes.
hct728(Bob) Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Nice work! Clever how you did the stripes. Amazing how we waited almost 50 years for a kit in this scale!
