Here's an idea I picked up some years ago.... Insert a Testors 1/2 oz bottle in a spray can cap like so... That way you don't accidentally knock the bottle over with a paint brush and make a big ol' mess on your work bench.... This has probably been posted before so credit goes out to the Modeler that first came up with the idea....??

Nice idea! And if you use one of those battery powered mixers, slip an empty TP tube over the jar so it doesn’t spray all over when you pull the mixer out.?

i accidentally tipped over a full bottle of tamiya extra thin cement. it smelled up the house and i couldnt stop coughing the day. i probably breathed in too much smell of it. (or it was in our head)

Once when my workbench was way too crowded, I knocked over an open bottle of liquid cement too.

Since then, I've put them in broad-based heavy coffee mugs...and tried to keep my bench a little less cluttered.

I knock over a full bottle of industrial strength Loctite on my bench and spent all day cleaning and Sanding my bench. Now it sits in a juice glass open or closed. I like applying it with a toothpick…

I dropped an open bottle of blackwash on one of my builds a few months back. Luckily it cleaned off easily and didn't damage the paint, it left behind perfect panel lines all over the body though, Lol.  Another booboo that often happens with me is brushing a loaded paintbrush against something, usually the painted bodyshell, as is written in murphy's law!

I once cut some foil in the palm of my hand because i was in a hurry, wont be doing that again. I've also got out of the shower and grabbed tamiya paint instead of deodrant. My booth isn't in the bathroom anymore

Reason enough to get an airbursh I guess.

An older lady I used to work with told a story about how her husband went into a dark bathroom and grabbed what he thought was a tube of Preparation H (hemorrhoid cream if you don't have it on that side of the pond). After a liberal application he came to find out that he had grabbed the Bengay instead (menthol and methyl salicylate topical pain reliever that makes the applied area warm and tingly). She said that it was one of the funniest things she had ever seen.

I knocked over a full bottle of Testor's gloss black.  I'll have to try the spray paint cap idea.

At least he didn’t grab the preparation H instead of the toothpaste.?

When I was a kid, band aids were always needed when my brothers and I were using hobby knifes while building models. I recall one time when I really did a number on my finger and was bleeding and my older brother yelled at me, " Be careful, don't get any blood on that car!" Nice that he was so concerned, LOL.

Yep!... The one red cap I showed was light snug fit so you shouldn't have any problems exchanging Testors a bottle from one color to another color....

The cap I used was from a Rust-Oleum spray can.... Hope that helps...
