Checked my local Walmart these laat couple weeks. None in Central N.Y.  I think it's a regional thing for Walmart.

Store by Store me thinks. Only one of the two I frequent has them.

Went to a different Walmart near me and found this! No display, but plenty of kits, and a few bucks less than my LHS.

Looked again this past Thursday at Walmart. No kits. Heck.... they haven’t been restocking any grocery items in the last month. Why do I even bother wasting my time doing my grocery shopping at Walmart this past month when they have minimum staff working to restock essential groceries? Next week, I’m heading out to another Walmart or Hannafords. LOLOL !!

So far I have only found them at one store out of three. So don't give up, someone has them out there.

Well.... there's always a New Hartford store. I highly doubt they will have any in stock. Same for Herkimer or Rome stores.

While grocery shopping, I decided to head over to the Toys department. Didn’t take me long to spot a cardboard display with the word “MODELS” on it. Looked they were picked over but... I grabbed the last Grumpy’s Vega kit. Not bad for $19.97. Some kits are priced at $24.97 though. They had some 6 pack cheapo generic “hobby paint set” with brush for $7.

For those in N.Y., now is the time to check your local Walmart stores.

Yeah... I think it's priced for the semi kit. Still a good price though for Walmart. 

I was tempted on the Nova Wagon kit though. I was surprised with the small box size.

It's a retro designed box. Not many extra parts, so really don't need it anyway.  The next issue includes 2 engines and  a trailer  so it may be bigger.

My store in WV got the shipper this week but by Thursday it was picked over pretty good. I did get the 32 Ford in 1/32 for$15....not bad.

Van Wert Ohio Wal- mart must have gotten the, yesterday sometime. I managed to get three display cases, and the '63 Nova wagon. some empty spot's on the display already!

Stopped at the New Hartford Walmart. None there at all.  Maybe I'll check the Walmart I went Thursday night again.

Stopped by the Walmart by my house and grabbed the last ‘68 Ford Torino Cobra Fastback kit with the missus’s blessing. LOL! This one can be built in 3 ways.... stock, custom, and racing. Came with 4 Polyglass white lettered tires and 4 what appears to be NASCAR style Goodyear tires.
