TruckerAL Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Bought this kit at Ollies last month, decided to build it up quick. Has Diamond Reo stripes on it, concerted to a single exhaust with a scratchbuilt frame mount/exhaust support, and custom made Peterbilt mudflaps.
Bills72sj Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Very nice. I would be proud to add it to my fleet. 1
TruckerAL Posted September 28, 2021 Author Posted September 28, 2021 Thank you all! I appreciate all the comments?
the goon Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Very nice. Recently finished my first big rig tractor (Autocar A64B), and am about to finish my first trailer (gravel hauler). Think I'm gonna try a cabover. Mark 1

I've done the autocar dump truck 2 times and the tractor once. My suggestion for your first cabover would be the new release international transtar 4070a. Then after you're comfortable with That, try a 352 or a white freightliner. Can't go wrong with either!

trick my mixer Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Trucker Al, That is a very clean build. The color and all. I like the old school single stack look. Nice job 1
leafsprings Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Like the paint choices on this one, yellow shocks, black air bags and white Detroit. IMO, the custom single stack looks much better than the kits cluttered dual stacks. 1
TruckerAL Posted October 2, 2021 Author Posted October 2, 2021 Thanks everyone! And I agree, I prefer single stack most of the time over a dual stack set up. Make it look clean and simple!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 I really like this one!! I like the color choice and the stripes too! It has a very vintage look! I like the single frame mounted stack too! Excellent work!! 1
gatorincebu Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Alex, that is a sweet lookin Pete. nice work on this one! Be Well Gator 1
doorsovdoon Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Really nice looking build. The simple black pinstripe looks great and suits the blue paintwork very nicely. 1
