Great entertainment gentlemen..Worth the read..Like someone said, its only toys we are arguing about..Sure they are models and lots of modelers are very picky, but like most people on the street will say they are only toys..Like the read though..I've had long time friends in our city club and clubs become NON friends over models..NOT worth the hassle..

Been there, done that. I felt like a real horse’s behind after that one time I got into a childish and petty argument over what wheels came in a box of a toy car. It’s not worth it, even when you know you’re in the right, nobody wins.

Besides, the PMs might be a better place to hash it out with each other. Maybe you could even reach a level of understanding with one another.

No. One wins in a fight or argument ….

Why is the picture showing a silver 1970 442?  Time to start another rumor?

Probably someone unfamiliar w/ the subject grabbed a pic off the internet to represent the product (since Revell probably hasn't released box art images yet).

Has anyone from the state bought from these guys? I am just wondering what shipping times/costs are like.

I haven't bought from them, but I've bought from Jumblies in the UK a couple of times, found them to be reasonable on shipping costs (roughly $15 per kit IIRC) and I got kits from them in less than 3 weeks last year..

The picture is of a '70, so the '71 kit will have a different grille and front bumper.

Yes, should look like this:

Nothing we didn't know I guess.

I wonder when we start to see some release dates for the '67 Corvette, Malibu and other Revell USA kits?

A handful of the known Revell US reissues 67 Vette, 37 Ford P/U, Malibu, GSX, 70s Z-28, and the modified reissue of the 69 Camaro 396SS were all recently added as "After-April" in Japan, which roughly translates to meaning 2nd Quarter. So getting them here should be late 1Q/early 2nd Q depending on how long it takes to work their way through the 104 boats in front of them and what if any of it makes it off the docks in China before Lunar New Year.

Thanks, hopefully it is the same for Europe.

This image bodes poorly for the 5-slot wheels being included. ☹️

Calling it '2n1' with only 1 set of wheels is rather lame...the 5 slot wheels were the only thing potentially interesting about this reissue, IMO...

Same here, but, I can see how others would be interested in the scoop and intake options. Maybe we shouldn't rule things out until the kit debuts, but I am a bit less hopeful now.

The way the chrome tree is tooled in the Chevelle / Malibu there is only one set of wheels available, at a time. The Blower and other parts are on a small extension of the chrome tree, so it is easy to include both intake options. Looking at the way the tree is tooled, Revell would have to run the same chrome tree twice in order to give wheel options. Not sure what will be in the kit, but the 5 spokes are certainly the hardest to find, as the black car was released more often than the red car.

Not necessarily. If there is space available inside the mold base and the 5-slot wheels are a separate insert, they could be included.
