I've been slowing plugging away on the '36. Not much of excitement to post, just finishing up a few last few items...

I added a windshield frame to the body...

I like what you’ve done to the windshield. That is one beef I have with this kit…the windshield is too “sunken”. I have carved a ledge on the outside of mine so I can mount a windshield on the outside. I hope it works.?

Thank you Chris, I have that kit just never opened it to look at the contents haha

haha I originally bought it for the wheels and tires. I also build custom pickups so the seat will go well in one

Got any cold beverages to put in that cup holder?

So, ADL, KK and I have been having a running joke about cup holders in vehicles. Mainly, it's me suggesting that ADL add a cup holder to a build. As we all know, real hot rods don't have cup holders. I figured this build would be perfect for a cup holder, so I made one. That lead to a discussion about putting a beer in the holder. This past weekend I fashioned a can of Bud to put in the holder. The decal is from one of the Slixx race car sheets. Please note that the can of beer is NOT opened. None of us condone drinking alcoholic beverages and driving.... -RRR

My friend, from Calgary, quaffs Bud Light like it's water, so maybe many fellow Canucks would concur... -RRR

What is the point of "light Beer?" Either you want to enjoy a nice refreshing cool drink, or you just want to become bloated, and need to visit the facilities all too often.

Dave, I'm not sure I understand your point about consumption of light beer. Light beer is a refreshing drink for those who don't like beer. Those who drink light beer are not "beer drinkers", per se. They just want to be seen as such. Real beer drinkers want the body and flavor that only real beer provides.  Light beer is not considered beer by real beer drinkers. It's  just that simple. If you want real beer, you drink Samual Adams Boston Lager  or the Devil's Backbone varieties, or any number of American micro-brewed IPAs.  I'm sure our friends in the land north of the border have their real beers too, like Moosehead  and Molson. Bud light and Miller Light are an embarrassing blight on the USA and anyone who drinks that garbage needs to turn in his man card.  Light beer is for the ladies, period. ?

Note to admin....just playing ?
