If your parents had the original issue album with the booklet cover, that record is worth some bucks! A lot of his original issue albums had extra goodies that make them valuable.

I don't have any idea which issue it was, I just remember that the album had a black label with the dog and the gramophone.

I like pretty much all Christmas music. Except for the Charlie Brown stuff. That Vince Guaraldi stuff, that Snoopy Red Baron song, just ugh.

The Band Aid tune is pretty awesome. That's prob my fav Christmas song.

Twisted Sister's A Twisted Christmas is great.

John Denver & The Muppets of course.

Bill Idol actually just released an excellent Christmas album that is NOT what you expect from him. It doesn't rock at all!

Trans Siberian Orchestra is fantastic. And if you like them, listen to The Wizards of Winter.

If I may counterargue, "Mele Kalikimaka" by Jimmy Buffett for the sheer fun of his version.

Then, although I never watched an episode of whatever the TV show "Glee" was, nor do I have any idea who was in it or what it was about, I ran across their version of "O Holy Night" which was just breathtaking:

Not a one specific favorite, but I like the already mentioned "Porky Pig's Blue Christmas",  and also "I am Santa Claus" (parody of Black Sabbath "Iron Man", and "Walking around in women's underwear". All by Bob Rivers.  The "Dominic the Christmas Donkey" also grew on me (since I'm from the area).

Al "He's the King" Hirt and a children's chorus (who sound oddly Australian) performing the theme from Santa Claus Conquers the Martians; the equivalent of putting a Ferrari engine in a Yugo:

As a child growing up in the late 70s, I would dig out my parents Elvis Presley Christmas album. It's not Christmas until I've heard Blue Christmas. I need to find that album again.

I agree, I have an Elvis Christmas album and one I made.
