HI!

While I did not spend as much time as I would have liked at the bench in '21, with 4 projects still being completed, I managed to finish 7 (plus one special issue "commissionned built" 61 Impala ProTouring that I refrain from showing here for "contractual reasons").

So much styrene, so little time!

Best wishes  to all of you for the new year.

Beautiful looking finishes. I like how you added modern roofs to the older bodies. I remember some of these builds, and congratulations of having your Caddy put in print. That one looks very natural as if GM did it.

Wow, you have a knack to make these look like they were designed, which in a way they were since you had to plan ahead to make them. The Charger is absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Thank you David!

I agree that putting a "modern" roof on a vintage car kind of "brings it to modern time ( windshield angle, flush glass, no rain gutter, etc.). It is, if your mash-up parts fit together reasonnably well, a fast track to fundamentally altering the look of a classic. Case in point: the Starliner with late Caprice wagon roof. A match made in Heaven!

Salut Mario!

The Charger was a lot of work, but I was looking to do something that was rarely seen with this iconic car. Turned-out acceptable!

I have a 58 TBird Custom on the workbench now that should entertain you. More later on this site...

Great looking builds Claude,  love the imagination you add to each one !

The charger especially is mind blowin ! !

Thank you Martin!

I agonized about the clamshell opening rear roof section. Picking a cut-line that would not mar the celebrated flying buttress rear pillars was a long process, but it ultimately worked, and when closed, is barely noticeable. Got lucky...

Great to see all your 2021 builds in one place some of which I am seeing for the first time. I love your creativity and excellent execution. Looking forward to your 2022 creations.

Great imagination and execution!  I really like that Torino.

Thank you Bruce!

I had a 1/1 73 Ranchero. Wanted the 72, but was not able to find one. That Johan model had to do!

Gee Claude those are works of art. That silver Charger? with the operable doors, hood and trunk lid had to take a considerable amount of planning and time. They're such one of a kind and very creative builds.

Hello Claude! Man I love your creations. Your builds are among my favourites. Do you think we could talk you into doing a WIP sometime so we can see the creative process? Keep the builds coming sir. Happy holidays and all the best for 2022.

Cheers, Steve

Hi Tom!

Indeed, lotsa planning. The scissor doors were a lot of "engineering" .
