I finished up the AMT 1955 Chevy Cameo today. What a fun build and it's instantly one of my favorites. I did a lot of customizing on this one, at least for me, including few things that I had never done before, and learned how to do them better next time. I opened the grill, cut out the engine cradle and made my own motor mounts, moved the transmission cross-member, lowered both front and rear suspensions, made the wheel tubs from a pill bottle, and made my own exhaust tips from 1/8" styrene tubing.

The color is Createx Pearl Turquoise, cleared with Createx UVLS Gloss Clear. The interior is Stynylrez Gray Primer, and a custom mixture of gray craft paints. The bed was also done with craft paints and the strips with Molotow Chrome.

The engine/transmission/exhaust, wheels/tires/brakes, side mirrors, and seats are from the Revell Chevy SSR kit. Everybody knows the glass doesn't really fit right on this kit, but I did manage to get it ok for the most part with just a few small gaps. I am really happy with how it turned out, and even bought another one for a future project. Thanks for looking!
