damodelguy az Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 finally stealin some time to work a finishing some of my created resin castings. i used 2 willys bodies to give it a low and longer look, chopped, 57 chevy chassis pan. used the kit interior but altered the back window shelf slightly. list the resin body on ebay time to time. any body that know of me, know i like different, similar treatment to a henry some years ago. thanx damodelguy 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 The '41 Willys looks a lot more like a Lincoln Zephyr now.
Modlbldr Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Looks a lot like mine I did years ago. Surprises me that people didn't do this more often in 1:1. Later-
damodelguy az Posted May 14, 2022 Author Posted May 14, 2022 nice willys tom, really like the color and wheels. bill, this is my 41 zephyr. 1
carrucha Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 Cool build. The '41 Willys definitely looks good as a tail dragger custom.
Koellefornia Kid Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 The Willys makes a very nice taildragger! Great job!
Richard Bartrop Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Those Willys do look really good with the early custom treatment. As for why we don't see more real life custom Willys, the only thing I can think of is how much interior space do you end up with once you start chopping and channeling them?
