goon
Aloha all, This is my latest completion. The kit is the Revell '76 Torino, done up in a Street Freak-style. The scratch built backdrop and details represent a longstanding local hobby shop. It was great fun building such a wild machine and figuring out how to replicate the model shop details and items.

TonyK
I have to say this is a bit different but I really like it. Excellent work on all of it.
vincen47
Hey, the sign says “No Parking”! But, I guess, with a car like that, we can let it slide… Excellent work on it! Impressive details. You’ve included the highest level of details of the mundane, everyday things like the ramp to the door and the AC condensation drain pipes - Things that generally go unnoticed in real life, finding their way to the diorama. I absolutely love the weathering, especially on the concrete and asphalt. Spectacular.
goon
Thanks for the comments, glad you folks dig it. I realize the stance is a bit exaggerated, but I felt I needed to make use of those huge slicks. Here are some in progress pics.

Claude Thibodeau
Hi Russell! Great theme, fine execution, bravo! The TV show (Starsky & Hutch) might have run longer if the gentlemen had been riding YOUR Torino, instead of the red tomato... Who knows? Spex84
Love the street freak, but the diorama is impressing me even more! All the right grunge in all the right places, all kinds of attention to detail. Beautiful work. And those itty-bitty Tamiya cans are killer! Zippi
Great looking Diorama. That Torino has some serious meats on the back. I like how this ole boy is parted right in a no parking zone. Nice job.
