Zippi Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 (edited) Well....after a disaster yesterday with the paint and glue I stopped crying about it and got it done. It was primed with Tamiya white surface primer, paint is Tamiya X-14 Sky Blue thinned with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner and shot through my Paasche H airbrush. There is not clear coat on the body. The paint was just polished. Interior was brushed with Tamiya XF-57 Buff. Other than the plug wires and Radiator support rods it's box stock. Tell me whatya think fellows. espo Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 Great looking paint finish and color. The thing that I notice the most is what you don't notice. That is the roof section being separate from the body and where they meet is hard to hide the way this kit body is designed. But you just don't see that point where they meet in these pictures.

Thanks Dave. The kit fits together very well.
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Glad you got it fixed rather than stuck in a box. Nicely done.

ea0863 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Beautifully done Bob! Some day I'm going to get the guts to pull out my brand new airbrush still sitting in the box and try my hand at it
