John- I'm not sure what you mean by the 'oxidiser'...? -RRR

My apologies. "Oxidiser" is another way of saying 'Supercharger'.

Oh, I've not heard that term before. The 4-71 style oxidiser and manifold is from some random AMT kit. I cut off the snout (is that a technical term?) and most of the front cover and made the extension from Evergreen styrene. The belts and pulley are cut up form the old Revell Matt Hay pro street T-Bird. The extended engine compartment in these kits makes enough room for all of that. -RRR

I've looked at this one a number of times over the last week or so and thoroughly admired it, but i appears that I did not comment here regarding same.

So....great job, Rodney!   So clean, so tasteful, so timeless.   And big thanks for ignoring the "SBC mafia" and putting the right make of engine under that hood!

Big congrats from this corner....TIM

Nice slick hot rod. Just the right parts choices, as always from your bench.

I found the Extreme (former OneCoat) turquoise on the rack recently, and don't remember it being in the line originally. First time I remember seeing it on a finished model.

This is a great looking little A. Could you be more specific about your modifications to the wheel wells? One of the reasons I haven't built this kit was because of the wheel wells. Just curious on what you did to remedy it.

I can't speak for RRR, but I'll tell you what I did.

Take the kit supplied interior panel that has the rear wheel well integrated into it, and cut it away. Take the wheelwell and position it inside the body down where you want the new wheelwell opening to be. Trace the current "big opening onto the wheelwell piece so you know what to cut away. Cut away above the line you drew, and then you should be able to blend that wheelwell piece into the body. The end result will look like this
