Another plain jane grocery getter 4 doors (just like I like them). I grew up around these simple, durable, easy to fix cars. Each time I build one , it brings me back to those simpler times. Not that I don't like modern things but this was a special time, I guess to each his own. Very straight forward build. Paint is Tamiya acrylics clear coated with ts 13. I used the kit decals. A neighbor had a car pretty much like this minus the faux-wood.

Another absolutely real and believable appearing model! Well done variation, and that's a sharp shade of blue; really complements the "wood". Good job.

Nice build. The old wagons were great. I drove my dad’s old Volare for a couple years… miss the bench seats. Your cars look great on that background… did you build it?

Beautiful and realistic appearing build. They didn't offer the wood trim in '65 but looking at this you have to wonder why they didn't.

Thanks Harry. The background is scratch built, mainly from pink Styrofoam and evergreen bits and pieces.

As always Mario, you knocked it out of the part man.  I remember back in the day my brother and I getting in the back of our partents wagon heading for a Saturday night at the drive-in.
