I painted this body a couple months ago as a experiment with Testors Enamel. I like the way it came out and have decided I will build it. I've already used some parts out of this kit on another build, hope I can find enough parts to finish it.

Nice and uncommon color for a muscled-up '67. Looks right.

Thanks.

Looking good James.  Haha...I used the 67 Chevelle body some time ago for paint testing as well.

Thanks Bob. Looks like the same color also. I think mine is Testors Gloss Tangerine.

Sharp color and great choice for fuel delivery. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes.

Thank you. I shot the interior parts today with some Createx Brite Green, but don't like the way it came out. Thinking of changing it, black interior would probably be best.

Looking good there James, pretty color. Black interior....I am one that is not a fan of tan or saddle interior with just a very few exceptions, this not being one of them?

Being a big fan of especially '66's but also '67's I'm a  watchin'.  Got a pair of '66's on the bench right now.

Another case of Murphy's Law.

"Paint jobs ALWAYS come out perfect on kits you have no emotional investment in!"

LOL......that is true.

Cherry Bombs?

Not sure if that is what they are supposed to be or not, I just painted them red because I liked the look. I had a set of cherry bombs back in the day and they were shaped different than these muffins.

Great paint color choice. I'd also go with the black interior.

Never owned a '67 but did have both a '68 and'72 (1:1) and am a big fan of the Chevelles from that era. Dumped the stock 307 from my '68 in favor of a 327 from a wrecked "vette which eventually ended up in the '72.

Several model 68's in my collection but it doesn't look like there ever was a '72 made or, if it was, they have long disappeared from the market.

Didn't have the pro street rear meats because I had used them on another build a while back. Had to go with the slicks, so ole cousin Bubba will have to watch out for the County Law when he cruising around the Georgia back roads.

I had to use some different wheel backs also, so I will need to get a better fit with that right side. Nothing is glued in right now. Also need to touch up that right spring with some black wash.

Those Big ole slicks look pretty kewl.  Just keep this ride home if the streets are wet.  Don't ask me how I know ?
