Tiger89 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 The convertibles were very easy rebuilders with unpainted bodies, the '63 Marauder hardtop was a mint kit except for a nasty tire burn on the deck lid which I fixed best I could. '64 hardtop was a mid-90s AMT/Ertl re-release. The '65, probably rarest of each of these, was bought at a local show/swap meet this past May. I used the side windows that came in the kit. 4
TarheelRick Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Some might fine looking Mercurys, I think the yellow and white '64 is my favorite.
Tiger89 Posted November 11, 2022 Author Posted November 11, 2022 Thanks, Round 2 has re-released the '64 Marauder hardtop again, this time with a very nice decal sheet.
steveracer Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Nice setup and love the placement of the cars on the boxes. Great tutorial on the history of those Mercury model kits, and great builds that do them justice for sure!
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Nice indeed. Love to see pristine kits actually built, almost as much as I love to see bodged messes rebuilt.
espo Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 They are all beautifully done paint and trim details. These are very hard kits to come by. The black S-55 hardtop is trhe one I would want to have, both for the color combination but alos for what that car represented at the time.
TransAmMike Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Very nice looking Mercury's, great job David!!

Slotto Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Exceptional builds. Really like the 63 hard top
