Anybody ever buy from spotlight hobbies.

Looks like they have some hard to find kits

How are they as far as shipping and such?

Dealt with Tom Carter for years.....Now Matt owns it. Same service and fair shipping. My last order I over paid on shipping and Matt refunded my money fast!! Good folks in the hobby for 30-40 years.

I've never bought a kit from Spotlight as I can always find what I want on ebay at a cheaper price. Especially older kits that are out of production.

From my experience, Spotlight Hobbies has always been reliable and honest. The items I have bought were exactly as described, packed well and sent quickly. They have an excellent reputation for a reason.

In my experience, their shipping is very fast and fairly priced. They pack well too. Would order from them without hesitation.

I ordered from them for the first time about a month ago. It was for a long out of production kit that was listed at a very fair price. It was a great experience - fast shipping and great packaging.

I've ordered from Spotlight for years and recommend them. If they say it's in stock, it's actually in stock. Shipping is fast. If you have a dog tell them and they'll include a free dog treat.

Same experience as above. Also had a couple of bucks refunded when the shipping was less than expected. Honest people are hard to find these days and I'd happily order from them again.

I've never bought from Spotlight Hobbies and I'm sure they are nice folks but they seem to be a little on the pricey side for me.

Great reputation in the hobby.  Not only good service, but incredibly prompt delivery from what I hear and have observed myself. 

Last weekend at the NNL Motor City, Matt (the new owner) and I talked at some length about the business since he and Dawn took over the business from Tom Carter a couple of years back.  They have done very well since then and are expanding the business, step by step, with even bigger plans for the future.   Based on my own experience and that of many, many others, you can order from them without worries.
