Chariots of Fire Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 The Diamond T 4 ton wrecker is now finished. The pioneer kits were added and the GI cans were strapped down. Tools are in the compartments and some tow cables, rope, four stacked buckets and 8 lb sledge are on the deck. Calling the build done. 8
Jim B Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Great looking wrecker, Charlie. Really well done.
Gary Chastain Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Nicely done, you have a whole different level of skills.
Dutzie Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Another great build! The level of detail is amazing.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Charles, as I have said many times, you are an amazing craftsman! This would be an incredible build if you would have built it out of a box, but to think that all of this was scratch built is Amazing! This is a beautiful build for sure! Excellent work!
Chariots of Fire Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 Thanks for all of your kind comments. Much appreciated. No sitting on the laurels, though. On to the next one! A simple kit build this time. Will keep all posted in the WIP section.
Paul Payne Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Followed this build and love the result! Any thought of displaying it with something being towed?
Joe Nunes Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 This is a top shelf model project. Well done! ? Joe
happy grumpy Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Great build . A lot of small details that add to realism. Very well done

I think if I was to do that I would do so in a diorama setting. But I'm running out of shelf space as it is!☺️
Paul Payne Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I know the feeling- my barristers bookcase sacrificed a shelf for my boat, trailer, and towing truck!

mikemodeler Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Another awesome build, the scratchbuilding you do and make seem so easy is incredible!
redneckrigger Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 And yet again, you have raised the bar even farther! Holy cow, Charlie, that is absolutely awesome!!!!!!!

rekcirb13 Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 (edited) Charlie, you've done so many military vehicles, spanning from WW II, to Korea and Viet Nam, that you could launch your own 1/25th scale invasion anywhere. (LOL) Edited March 6, 2023 by rekcirb13
