Ca. 1986 box stock build - car lacquer + clearcoat sprayed from  the can, Humbrol silver for the trim. Main issues: paint with orange peel, warped hood - model is long gone, pictures from 2005

Despite the issues, it turned out quite well. The orange peel is not too apparent, I struggled a long time to get descent finishes, matt paint on planes was easier. This is my favorite GTO. A blast from the past.

Thanks Mario - today I'm going to wet-sand at least the primer and the top coat (eventually with some polishing compound at the end) - back then I didn't even have a polishing kit. I just sprayed everything on without refining anything.

Great looking Judge. I'm currently in the finishing stages with one of these kits. They build up very nicely. I'm working on a mounting strip for the rear bumper above the tail lights to facilitate the attachment process.
