Calb56 Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 (edited) Wow, that is clean! I love your Halibrands/tires on it. Love it. Edited February 20, 2023 by Calb56
NOBLNG Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 That looks great Jason!? It takes me more than 24 hours to decide on what colour to go with.?
Dan Hay Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 That’s awesome! Where did you get the wheels?

Dan, both the front and rear wheels are my resin castings. The fronts are modified wheels from an original Revell Orange Crate, the rears i made from scratch to fit the Monogram 41 Lincoln tires and then used the wheel center also from the Orange Crate. Makes the front and rear match in a vintage Halibrand pin drive style. The front tires are also my resin castings modified from an original Orange Crate tire. Without modifying, the Irange crate tires/wheels are a terrible fit together, and only fit if the tire is soft and pliable. This doesn't work for resin though, so wheels/tires were modified to actually fit together. Rear tires are just resin copies of the hard to find Monogram 41 Lincoln tires. 1
happy grumpy Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Great looking build in only 24 hrs. I takes me 24hrs just to decide what to build next. That's a very clean build.?
Bernard Kron Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Nicely done, indeed! The wheels work a treat, and now I know who to fo to for a louvered '4 hood. Imptessive that you included tackling an engine swap with it, as well. Or is it the AMT the street rod variant. Either way it all goes together really well.
ve safari Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 You smashed that out of the park. No way I could build and paint same in 24 hours!
Paul Payne Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 I can't even get a coat of paint to dry in 24 hours! Also love the wheels- my all time favorite hotrod wheels!
