Nacho Z Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Here she is, my Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 painted in OPI fingernail polish. This is the first time I have painted a model in fingernail polish and I am pleased with the results. It is built box stock as that is the category I want to enter it into at upcoming shows. Below is the link to the WIP. I took a lot of pictures of it because each angle gave a different result. I hope you like it as much as I do! 10
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 That color and beautiful paint job should garner some 1st place recognition. Nice job. Good luck at upcoming events.
Toast Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Well, the rest of the build matches that sweet paint job. I also like the extra detail of the flockin in the interior. Great job!
drodg Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 That is so cool. As a 993 lover I am enjoying this! Thanks
espo Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Beautiful looking paint work and the flares and wheels look great.
karbuildr Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 The nail polish paint color, the wheels, the stance, it all works for a beautiful build.

Nacho Z Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 Thank you, guys!! I really appreciate the kind words! This particular model will always hold a special place with me as I have always wanted to paint a car in fingernail polish and it was the first!
beeRS Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 I think that is the nicest Tamiya GT2 I have seen. Well done ??. Great paint job.
BeakDoc Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 She’s absolutely gorgeous! I’ll be checking out the WIP link shortly, as I also would like to paint a model with nail polish someday.
