Wasn't sure about the green at first myself, but it is definitely looking good! ?Thanks for the tip about the distributor/wires. Have one of these in the queue as well.

Thanks.

This is what I call telepathy. I have chosen the same colour for my targa.

But....

I gave up using Tamiya acrylic paint for the exterior finish as they cannot be polished properly. Therefore I picked up a close green tone by testor.

I never polish anyway.

Oh man......that green does look good on this bad boy. Fantastic color selection and you applied it very well.

Wish I'd caught this thread earlier, I could have warned you about the distributor clearance issue. It's super tight in there. Beautiful job on this build, the color is great!

Thanks. Yea, it was a really tight fit.

Especially on the interior. Just enough weathering on the leather to make it look well used.

Thanks Dan.

Got some body work done. There is a lot of hand detail painting on this kit and with my shaky hands I'm not very good with it. It's looking like a sloppy mess. One thing to watch is the engine hatch needs to go on before the interior is installed, not after. And it's kinda of finicky getting the rear of the interior and hatch hinges to fit right.

It's coming out beautiful James, and don't sweat the little imperfections you are talking about. They only show up on the hi-res photos we post to one another, and cannot even be seen with the naked eye! :) BTW; I love the color. Here in Las Vegas, I see Porsches by the hundred, and it's awesome how diverse the paintjobs are. If I understand correctly, Porsche will even paint a car any color you want from the factory.

Nice work James.  Did your body have the defects at the rear fenders I have seen in other editions of this kit?

I hope you get to feeling better, I have been there many times….

Thanks Carl. Feeling better today, was able to get some done. Almost ready, just need to put on a few decals and I'll call it done.
