Sidney Schwartz Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 (edited) This is a very nicely designed kit...good detail and very good parts fit. Unfortunately, the kit was rather ancient and the plastic brittle, which meant frequent breakage of thin parts. You can see in the front shot that one of the wheels is crooked...it broke, again, as I was taking the pics. This was not a sealed box...maybe the plastic would have been in better shape if it was. It's all box stock except for the ignition wires and the tubes leading the wires from the distributor to the manifolds. The interior is pretty plain, but so is the real one. Enjoy, and thanks for looking and commenting. Edited July 28, 2023 by Sidney Schwartz 13
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Nice build and color combo on a unique body styled Lincoln. Good job.
espo Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Great looking build. Like the color combination between the body and the top.
Dan Hay Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Nice build, and nice color combo. I’ve got several of these kits but I keep stealing the bumpers and steering wheels for other Kustom builds.
BeakDoc Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 Way cool color combo. Nice detail under the lid as well.
Erock Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 Very cool. Nice to see something different for a change ?
Sidney Schwartz Posted July 31, 2023 Author Posted July 31, 2023 Thanks, all. I think Lincoln's design team really nailed it with this one. They probably thought so too since it remained almost unchanged that entire decade.
DFrancois70 Posted July 31, 2023 Posted July 31, 2023 I love the pale yellow colour. A very nice model kit of a beautiful car. Back in the days when cars were artworks..
Andy Oldenburg Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Well done job on this very classic kit. Seems the kit was from way back then also. Sorry for the trouble... Now handle with care!??
