A well designed kit and easy to build. A nice departure from some of my recent builds. No issues at all. Not much to say about it, paint is Tamiya silver leaf coated with TS13.I also built the Italeri kit (AMT now) not as good as Revell but builds up to a nice model. Not as detailed especially the wheels. I will post it eventually.

As always ,

Very nice Mario. Looks good in that setting .  I see you conquered the red surround on the headlights. Did you use the decal  or something else. That was the hardest part of the kit in my opine.

Like the finishes and the diorama setup. Enjoy seeing one built the way the manufacturer built it originally.

Nice Mk1 Golf GTI - I like the background diorama as well, it really sets the model off.  Those Revell Mk1 Golf kits are good - it'd be nice if they brought out a Mk1 Scirocco and  Mk2 Scirocco too.

Super nice Mark 1 and diorama. I have a few in my stash to build. Might do the silver like yours.

Thanks Rich. I used the kit decals, somehow my shaky hands managed to behave so I was able to install them almost perfect. The kit decals are easy to position , they slide very easy they are resistant.

Very well built and photographed (as usual), Mario - you even gave it a personal touch in painting the black plastic fender flares body color.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. As I said before , I get a lot of inspiration by the beautiful builds on this forum.
