Revell ford 1931 rat rod

The first photo is what inspired me to finish this build. I put this kit back in the shelve I don't know how many times. After seeing that photo I knew that's how I wanted to do this model. There is an artistic beauty to an old car left in a field or desert all by itself, cooking in the sun . I did remove the fabric top and the floor. I had a few good photos of a bare metal Ford so I did my best to replicate that. I even put a few bullet holes for good measure.

As always, thanks for looking.

I remember having a car like that.....took it out on a starry night to see the wonders of a celestial light show and...lo and behold.. a meteor appeared and landed some distance away.  Bright light, Big explosion, lots of dust....

Well, that was 65 million years ago.  Looks like it held up pretty good for its age.

Excellent work my friend. Museum Quality!

Holy smokes Mario, you brought out your "A" game on this one.  Just a Great looking 31 Ford that has sat in the desert for years wasting away.  The weathering looks spot on man.  Super job on this one.
