Hicksie1995 Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Here’s my 1930 model a. This is the new revell kit. After cracking the jimmy flint stone chopped body I had I decided to try to chop it myself. Came out on in my opinion. Other than that it’s a detailed iceman engine, 3Dscaleparts wheels, tires, and headers. Color is a nail polish I found while out with the wife then cleared with 2k. 9
ColonelKrypton Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Very, very nice. That green colour works well. I have had the urge to build a early model Ford hot rod and just recently picked up one of these Revell kits. Your build has provided much food for thought. cheers, Graham 1
TarheelRick Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Don't know if I would want to go out with a woman with that color nail polish. However, it looks really good on your hot rod. Nice work chopping the top, overall one beautiful rod. 1

I grabbed two bottles of this just for this build lol.

Rattlecan Dan Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Excellent build! Very clean and nicely detailed. Great job. 1
gman Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Wow. Looks like someone was paying attention in "classic Model A hot rod" school, and then went for bonus points in perfect execution of finishes. I love the green, love the flathead and the megaphone headers. Great job on this. 1
Mr. Metallic Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Very well thought out hot rod. I especially love the clean execution of the fuel lines. 1
espo Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Beautiful looking finish and I like the chopped top with the removable top insert. Great looking engine. 1
