The Monroe Mi store had some glue along with paint on clearance and it was still too much money.  All the kits were gone by then.

I will get a couple of the Fastbacks when they and of they get around here.

The store in Huntly IL has had some since last Christmas. So far same old, same old. I did buy the Cutlass and the Chevy Station Wagon $17.99 ea.

The prices stated on their display are at or near MSRP. HL will list the same kits for $30, but with their 40% off bi-weekly sales their price will be lower.

IF they have the kit in question.  I haven't seen the '55 Nomad anywhere yet, and have seen the Coronet convertible in only one place locally.

Not even Christmas and a local Walmart already has a kit display.20230819_181239.thumb.jpg.c41ef8eb01720f07ed208a1869c5b7ea.jpg

I love the sales pitch to appeal  to 21st Century parents (or young responsible adults).

Develop:
Visual-motor skills
Cognitive skills
Planning and stratergizing  skills

What a deal - just for less than $50 (including paints and glue), you can develop all those skills building models of ancient cars which were popular decades before you were born. Good marketing plan! :D
