AMT 1968 Roadrunner

Well, tried painting, experimenting with Quick Shine as a clear. Got some runs on the body. Tried sanding, and went through the base color. When I tried touching up the color (Wicked Silver metallic acrylic), remaining clear started bubbling/lifting. Oh well, into the purple pond. Will redo the silver, and back to 2k clear. Not impressed with Quick Shine at all.

That is an interesting color for the engine.

If Quick Shine is the same a Pledge. you can remove it with a household ammonia and cotton swabs. doing so does not bother solvent based paints in the least. I recleared the roof on my Chevelle 3 times with no affect on the color.
