6bblbird Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 This one is from 2014. Pretty easy build using the WInged Express chassis. I used only the body from a Cobra kit. The rest of the parts? I probably put it in a box somewhere never to be seen again. Engine was from the parts box. Decals from the collection of unused. The tonneau cover is just sheet plastic using a pounce wheel for the rivet detail. 10
TarheelRick Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 As if a stock Cobra was not bad enough, you went and added a whole lot more to it. Excellent concept and beautiful build.
Zippi Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Now that looks like a hand full for a 1/4 mile. Really diggin this one. Great looking model.
M W Elky Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 WOW this is a perfect kit bashing project. It has me inspired to use chassis under an early corvette body. MPC kitted this chassis with a mid 70’s corvette body, and called it the vette gasser

Bainford Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 That thing looks brutal. Very nice work. Great period vibe.
Nitro330 Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 What a cool subject! The Cobra makes a bad little altered. Love the rivet detail, really adds to the look. Great job.
6bblbird Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 Thanks to everyone that replied! This was one of those rare (for me) builds that just seemed to build itself. Everything fit together perfectly. It was actually ...dare I say...fun!
Rattlecan Dan Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Great looking build. Very sharp. Nice job.
