Keef Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 I used the AMT 68 Shelby GT500 body and parts with the Revell 68 GT chassis, interior and running gear. The wheels/tires are Pegasus Centerlines. The paint is a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green. The weather didn’t want to cooperate with me on the pics so I’ll try to take some better outdoor ones later. 10
vamach1 Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Nice color and the Revell chassis is so much better than the 55 year old AMT chassis.

Tried using the black GT 500 decals but must have had a brain fart and did t coat them before dunking them in water. They totally disintegrated into a million pieces. So I used the kit decals and pieced them together.
Yeah Nah Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Turned out great Keith. Those wheels set it off too. Re the decals disintegrating; I'm at the stage now where I don't trust any kit's decals. I always try one of the decals that I won't be using first to see what happens to it. 1
espo Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Great looking interior and body color combination.
disconovaman Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 The two kits seem to work together pretty well. I need a set of those big Centerlines, They're cool! I couldn't get the weather to act right for my outside pics either so I gave up. ?
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Great colour and nice wheels! That‘s one mean looking Pony!
ncbuckeye67 Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Very nice! I love the color combination.
NOBLNG Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Nice!? I like the color on it. I think one of your plug wires came off though. 1
