I used the AMT 68 Shelby GT500 body and parts with the Revell 68 GT chassis, interior and running gear.
The wheels/tires are Pegasus Centerlines. The paint is a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green.

The weather didn’t want to cooperate with me on the pics so I’ll try to take some better outdoor ones later.

Nice color and the Revell chassis is so much better than the 55 year old AMT chassis.

Tried using the black GT 500 decals but must have had a brain fart and did t coat them before dunking them in water. They totally disintegrated into a million pieces. So I used the kit decals and pieced them together.

Turned out great Keith. Those wheels set it off too.

Re the decals disintegrating; I'm at the stage now where I don't trust any kit's decals. I always try one of the decals that I won't be using first to see what happens to it.

The two kits seem to work together pretty well. I need a set of those big Centerlines, They're cool! I couldn't get the weather to act right for my outside pics either so I gave up. ?

Nice!? I like the color on it. I think one of your plug wires came off though.

I noticed that after I posted the pics, it’s actually the coil wire that I somehow forgot to attach ??
