Tribute to a Friend and fellow on line modeler.  Kevin Bentley, aka “HEMI” passed away way too soon in Aug 2022, he was a great guy and a very capable model builder. This HEMI powered Street Rod is built in his honor.

This is the Revell Dan Fink “Speed Wagon” 32 Ford Woody. The engine is from the Revell 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe, the blower setup is from the Monogram 79 Camaro with velocity stacks and air cleaners from the Revell Rat Roaster 32 Ford, and the wheels and tires are Pegasus Centerlines, 23” in the rear and 19” in the front. The car has been lowered front and rear. The paint is Mr. Hobby GX4 Yellow.

Thanks for lookin!?

Just a Super nice looking tribute build of a 32 Ford Woody.  Very nicely done.  All the colors blend together really well.  Great looking little Hot Rod.

Beautiful Woody. I really like the color, the wood trim, that engine is killer. Best part is your tribute to your friend and fellow modeler.

That is one gorgeous 32 custom, and a fitting tribute to your friend. I especially like the way you colour coded the undercarriage. Really well done Pete.

Cheers,

David. ??

Very sharp looking Woody , maybe the nicest build of this kit I've seen !  I'm not really a fan of 19"-23" wheels but those look really good on this . . .

Well done !

Thanks Bob…I was pretty surprised when I mocked up the build with the big wheels and tires, it actually looked pretty cool.  It could be that they balance out that big ol Hemi in the front of this thing.

Beautiful looking finishes and like the wood grain finish. Great looking engine and chassis.

Thanks David!  The wood grain panels are the kit decals.
