Gustavo Reis Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 (edited) This is the 1/24 yellow interceptor from the first Madmax movie. The resin kit is from The Parts Box Australia. Edited December 9, 2023 by Gustavo Reis 7
karbuildr Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I believe your Main Force Patrol Interceptor is the best build of that car I've seen. Beautifully done. All three of your Mad Max collection look great together.
Yeah Nah Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Amazing work on all these Mad Max subjects Gustavo. Surprising number of these XB Falcon models (1973-76) still on the road here in Brisbane.
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 That's pretty sweet. I wish someone would start making kits of some of the Aussie muscle cars and rarer muscle cars from around the world. 1
Bainford Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Very cool Interceptor, Gustavo. Nicest one I've seen yet. Your whole Mad Max trio looks fantastic. Great work. I just watched the movie a couple weeks ago, hadn't seen it in years. Classic.
Rattlecan Dan Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Gustavo, those are all excellent builds. You do nice work. Thanks for posting.
espo Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Great looking paint work and finish. The light bar and other trim look correct. Remember the early Mad Max movies, often seemed farfetched, but still entertaining.
XYHARRY Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Nice job on the interceptor there Gustavo. It does look clean but that's how they were in the movie as the XB Falcon was only one or two years old when the film was made. Well done on all three original movie cars and thanks for sharing. Cheers, David. ??
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Great build and a nice Mad Max collection!
happy grumpy Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 A perfect replica of an iconic car from down under. It certainly looks real.
ncbuckeye67 Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Wow that's an amazing part of a great looking trio!
spencer1984 Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Great looking build! I'm hoping to get to mine soon, anything in this kit I should look out for?
Gustavo Reis Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 Thank you guys. Spencer1984, I only bought the body and accessories, I used a Mustang chassis and engine and a Camaro interior. The kit is very good, I just improved the fit of the windshield with Dremel and includes the chrome trim in the trunk. I made a resin copy of the dashboard from the Aoshima kit.
