A daily driven 32 roadster inspired by the Gray Baskerville roadster

Recommended Posts

It was definitely worth revisiting this project and pushing it through. I was bummed when you boxed it. Turned out really cool. Like others have said the Baskerville inspiration is unmistakably there without being a full-on copy. Nice top!

And not to brag (😁) but I’ve actually worked on and driven the real deal. Here it is at the shop. 😉

it needs more dents and dings

Yeah, I was contemplating that. I was goings to try some subtle heat to the drivers side of the seat to see if I could get it to look like the springs were sagging, but you only get one chance to get it right, so I chicken doubt. -RRR

You definitely pulled off the subtly worn daily driver look. Only those that are very familiar with the Revell 32 series can probably tell all the changes you've made, and all to great effect. Well done.

I always appreciate your kind words, Craig.... -RRR

I don't know how I missed this one, but I'm glad bubbled back to the top. This just about the coolest full-fendered roadster I've ever seen in scale. Man, that thing looks good! And though not a replica, a lovely tribute to Gray's ride. I dig it!
