Johnny Mac Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 Revell’s 1/8 motorcycle kits are old now, I understand the kit dates back to the early sixties. With some detailing these are still impressive kits today. I used piano wire & brass tube ferrules to replace the heavy kit spokes, the seat was reworked, all nuts & bolts were shaved & replaced with aftermarket items. Becc Uk number plate , Tamiya wire & cable & real springs completed the build. Paint is 2k aerosol with Gundam pen to tarnish the pipes. I have finally landed one that is open and I won't be worried about building. Thanks for the inspiration! I think you did a beautiful job on this triumph the detail is very sweet it almost looks as if you could walk up and climb on. I new people had them growing up in the fifties.
