Revell’s 1/8 motorcycle kits are old now, I understand the kit dates back to the early sixties. With some detailing these are still impressive kits today.

I used piano wire & brass tube ferrules to replace the heavy kit spokes, the seat was reworked, all nuts & bolts were shaved & replaced with aftermarket items. Becc Uk number plate , Tamiya wire & cable & real springs completed the build.

Paint is 2k aerosol with Gundam pen to tarnish the pipes.

Stellar work on this kit! When you blow up the photos you really see the craftsmanship that went into this model.

I have finally landed one that is open and I won't be worried about building. Thanks for the inspiration!

Note: I have a Revell first issue (1964) that has a price tag on it for $2.99

I think you did a beautiful job on this triumph the detail is very sweet it almost looks as if you could walk up and climb on. I new people had them growing up in the fifties.
