ewetwo Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Finished this today. Revell 1981 Camaro Z28. Swapped the plastic tires and wheels to something I think look better. 13
Yeah Nah Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Nice work David. Your builds always look in the garage setting.
karbuildr Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Well done Camaro. I like the contrast between the grey metallic body and the red interior. Your choice of different wheels and tires is a huge improvement.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Definitely looks better without the kit wheels!
ewetwo Posted January 27, 2024 Author Posted January 27, 2024 Thank you Garry, David and Craig. The garages been pretty busy the past few days Garry. I went with the red interior David because I remember when GM kind of went through that your choices were black, red or tan interiors. Plus it was in the car on the box so I figured my guess was correct. ?
Zippi Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Nicely done on the Z28. I'm liking the Diorama.
espo Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Great looking color and stripping matching the interior.
TransAmMike Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Very nice David and the shop setting is cool?
ncbuckeye67 Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 Nice looking build! It looks better than the box pic with those wheels.
mustang1989 Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 DEFINITELY a better swap out with the wheels and tires. I had this kit in my stash and took one look at those wheels and tires and the "engine" that was in there and quickly decided that this wasn't the kit for me. I can most certainly appreciate and admire your efforts on this one though Dave.
ewetwo Posted February 3, 2024 Author Posted February 3, 2024 Thank you Jeff and Joe. I felt the same why Joe. It was on the shelf for a while. I'm not the best builder but it came out decent.
