Deathgoblin Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 This was a very nice kit to assemble. The windshield was broken when I got it, so I grabbed out the one from the 60 Impala kit. Deathgoblin Posted February 2 Author Share Posted February 2 Surprisingly, the windshield was a pretty easy fit. It wasn't quite exact. I lopped off the pins on the inside of the roof and slid the glass forward until I was just at the edge of the top of it, then clamped into place and glued it. Those tires look better than the kit supplied ones too. The tires were missing from this kit. I snagged a set from the AMT '49 Mercury that fit. I had other tires that'll fit the Merc.
