Fast Five '63 Galaxie

I built this replica of Tej's '63 Galaxie from the AMT kit. I got this kit years ago in a lot of kits that had already been started. The body had been painted but nothing else had been done. After I stripped the paint I repainted it black, I only used one coat of clear so it would look a little dull. The wheels and tires were missing, but since I was going to replace them with ones from a '67 Fairlane kit, it did matter. I printed some movie correct plates. Everything else came in the box.

I loved the banter when tej and roman when they saw each other after seeing dom's hideout  in fast  five in the only actual scene with this 63 galaxie in the film  roman says to tej when you going to give Martin Luther king his car back and tej says to roman as soon as you give rick James his jacket back

Andrew, I love the look of this, low key and mean.  I have a whole box of these stashed away, makes me want to dig into one..including a few originals with the working headlights.
