1968 Chevy Chevelle SS 396

This Revell kit is a great kit. I painted it MCW  Willow Green which is close to the 1968 colors although it is a 1965 Chevy color. The interior is painted Krylon Satin Italian Olive and black. I added plug wires, heater hoses, and a fuel line with filter to the engine. The vinyl top was added with 2" masking tape and painted with flat black. Some photos I took with it sitting on a box so you can see the stull at the bottom a little better.  I've also posted a companion 68 Chevelle that I built a couple of years ago. Two different colors and a bit different style but very similar builds. The previous build took a 2nd place in Factory Stock. No problems with either build and they were fun to build! Thanks for looking and have a Happy Easter! ! 😎

Great looking color combination with the Black vinyl rood and trim. Remember seeing a few done like this when they were new, Muscle but with a touch of a luxury look. Great engine detailing.
