Kit Karson Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 You guys know me, right? This has peaked my interest every sense the 1st time I saw it! I think it just hit the top of my "Build It" bucket list! Might not be exactly like it, but close in a number of ways: Should I go for it? -KK 4
Street Rod Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 That’s a really cool car! Looks like a mix between a Vette and a 53 bel air. Give it a shot! 2
mr moto Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 That's too cool not to build it! If you don't, somebody else will. 1
NOBLNG Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Please DO IT! I would definitely like to see that built!? 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 That's interesting. I bet it's killer in person. 1
Skip Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Yep, go for it,,, time to pick up a 51/52 Chev and a C1 Corvette, then let the slicing and dicing begin! Have Fun with this one, looks like it might just keep you scratching your head all the way through. 1

These days just lately, it's astounding to see what's being generated by A.I. mashing together imagery, for example the V356Dub below from whatever the "Playground" website is. The giveaway here with the Vettbelair might just be what's happening with the shape of the bumper, where it looks like a computer had trouble mashing that shape. 4
stitchdup Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 are the rear fenders from a later buick, they seem to look almost like they're from a boattail riviera 1
mr moto Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 There's no doubt that it could be AI, but it still needs to be built. 2

Danno Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 I'm with John Teeling -- I see Benz 300SL in the roof and windows. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 More I look at it, the more I think it's CG. Good CG, but CG. The headlight lenses in particular aren't quite right... Either way it's a pretty cool thing. 2

Agreed - that razor-thin A pillar makes me think it’s not real, the wiper arm that has no wiper, the weird shape of the top of the front bumper and a bunch of other little things. Still cool tho! 1930fordpickup Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Way beyond my skill and attension span. Very cool looking car. I think you can do this justice. 1

T-Ray Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Looking at that thing, I can't help but see some Karmaan Ghia in the roof and trunk area. Maybe my eyes are biased though.
Danno Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 LOL. Think my joke failed to land. It was either that one or channel my best Von Zipper and suggest you try the Front Custom Bumper & Front Roll Pan store. Okay! Enough of the 'hijack the thread with lame humor,' Danno! 1
