Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 When I was in the process of finishing my first Demon I noticed they included the stripes and emblem for the Sizzler version of the car. To make it even better, Hart's Parts makes the correct hood scoop for the car. So, I knew I had to make another at some point. The Demon kit isn't a bad kit at all. In fact, it may be one of my favorite Round 2 kits. The hardest part is painting the grill. The rest of the kit goes together quite nice. XYHARRY Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Very nice build of this very popular kit, and to do it as the Sizzler just makes it that much better. Well done Eric. Cheers, David. ??
drodg Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Looks good. Your right the grill is kind of tedious to do.
happy grumpy Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Very nice indeed. I agree, this a very nice kit. I wonder if anyone has tried to fit the AMT duster chassis to this kit. It sure would add more details. I might try that someday if I build another one.
espo Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Great looking paint and stripping finishes. Like the stance.

I haven't tried the chassis but I am building one with the Duster engine. The engine and front suspension are the two biggest let downs of this beautiful kit.

I want to say I saw someone mention they did or were going to try it in one of the other Demon posts. I think it would be hard since the chassis for this kit has holes and pegs to fit it into place when attaching it to the body. The front wheel wells have a couple of attachment points and I want to say the back has raised holes for the pegs to fit into. I believe on the Duster kit, the chassis just slides in like any other kit.
TNT Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Nicely done. Now i need to get one. Think i may have to quit looking at pics, seems i want every kit i see. Time to talk to the wife.
