Revell 57 Chevy 150 sedan

G’day everyone. Just finished this one. Built OOB except for the Pegasus wheels. I modified the kit suspension to get it nice and low, finished it in Tamiya ts-20 with ts-22 flames airbrushed on with the help of a lazy modeller mask and cleared with ts-13. 57 Chevies are one of the few cars l think look good with flames and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Thank you everyone for the kind comments on the 57. I really enjoyed building this one, l think that I’ll probably build more custom cars in the future, more scope for using your imagination.

Green is far from the first color that comes to mind when I think of a '57 Chevy, but this looks really, really cool. Your flames are perfectly executed also. Smooth as glass finish must have taken quite a bit of sanding to eliminate the separation line. It goes to proove that a rather straight forward build can look a real winner without bunch of details and mods. I love seeing models like this.
