I bought this kit at least 15 years back when I was in the LHS and thought “I need to try a Fujimi kit.”  I later read it’s not considered a great kit. While that is true of the chassis detail and engine, I think it built up to be a great-looking shelf model.  The stripes are Tamiya White and the red is Tamiya Italian Red, both from rattle cans. I didn’t use a clear coat.  So I waited about 15 years to build it, but I’m glad I finally did!

Great looking Cobra and some really nice paint !  Well done Chris !

Other than the windshield frame I don't see any real problems with this kit .

Beautiful looking paint finish and racing stripes. All you ever see sitting on the shelf is the exterior anyway.

That's a Hot little number there Chris.  Beautifully done up in the Tamiya paints.  That is just so clean looking.  That's a looker for sure.

Looks really great to me. I have built several and this one is fantastic

I believe the story goes that the first 427 was red. Because Shelby told Ferrari ( as a jab) “ I can build red ones too “
