Gee that's nice!  I might have to steal the grille bar idea for a custom Willys convertible that has been stalled for decades - that is exactly the sort of highlight it needs!

Cheers

Very interesting vehicle and I like the colour.

Thanks Phil!

I like to build things that "never existed", as the saying goes. Allows for more possibilities, as you know all too well!

Beautiful paint finish and color. Like the phantom body style. The interior is really clean looking, and the color goes perfectly with the body color.

Thanks David!

The red goes with the lettering in the Gilmore livery... but makes for a darker interior color.

I went against my "rule" to always use light color for the interior of a closed car, because otherwise, you need a flashlight to fully appreciate the details. Oh well...

"Rules" are made to be broken, especially if it looks better the way you did it.

nice build! Big improvement on the Vantastic body.

Thanks Harry!

It is a very nice kit to begin with, but the Willys fenders have more pronounced "sweep", which has a lenghtening effect.

The proof has been made once again, good leftovers make good dishes especially when the cook is talented!

You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, but when you put the shells back together you certainly get something different and sometimes, as is the case here, the exercise is successful!  Oddly enough, even the color supports my thoughts. 😁

Claude strikes again as many others have said or thought!

Bravo encore une fois mon ami! 👍

Another clever creation there Claude. Your mix of colours are spot on for this build and that engine compartment is cool. Really well done.

Cheers,

David. 😎👍

I just like everything about this build Claude.  That red interior looks Super kewl and really blends with the body color.  Great looking mods to the ole Gilmore Petrol Willy's. Very nice build.

Such a cool and innovative build!  Your interior texture looks very rich and I agree about the underhood tin work - show car quality finish all around!

Thanks Brian!
