Limeyglue Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Just completed this Revell 30 A. Chopped a bit more from the roof and lowered the front with a new crossmember and shaved spring. Top shock mounts from the Revell 32 Ford and scratch built shocks. Steering moved to cowl to make room for the engine. Engine is an early Cadillac from the Revell 49 Mercury with added ignition wires. Paint is Tamiya dark green rattle can Thanks for looking Lee. 23 1
espo Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Smooth paint finish and like the Olive Drap shade of green. Great looking interior and engine detailing. 1
Lobo2me Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Great job! I'm sure those louvers on the trunk lid were a challenge. Well done! I have a wild and crazy '32 on the bench as we speak (errr, type) and have the same '30 kit in cue. Wish me luck and look for me in a month or two. 1

The louvered deck lid is from thr Revell 32 5 window reshaped to fit. Good luck with the 32
Zippi Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Yeah, that's my kinda Hot Rod right there Lee. Sharp looking build. 1
karbuildr Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Excellent Model A. I like the engine swap and the flat green color gives it an old school look. 1
catpack68 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Very nice work! Love the chopped top and Cadillac mill. 1
Lunajammer Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Wow, did you get everything right on that one. The stance is perfect, proportions etc. 1
XYHARRY Posted January 29 Posted January 29 That's a cool hotrod there Lee, you nailed it. Cheers, David. 😎👍 1
bobss396 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 That is just perfect. The finish is a nice break from the ultra-polished ones we usually see here. 1
NOBLNG Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Outstanding build! I like everything you’ve done with it!👍😎
