This is a simple but interesting kit. It only contains 77 pieces but everything is molded nicely and fits properly and I believe the body shape is fairly accurate. This gives you a kind of blank canvas to build upon allowing you to create and add all the extra details you want. I separated the exhaust from the rear end structure for a more realistic look and added rear shocks. The rear end was dropped 2 mm for a better stance and I raised the front bumper 1 mm. I detailed the engine bay with battery cables, dip stick, heater hoses, 2 PCV hoses and washer container hose. Finally I applied white letter decals for the tires and the purple roadrunner "Meep Meep" horn. I painted it to replicated the Chrysler High Impact color Sublime / Limelight and painted the black hood stripe in Satin black. I'm happy with the result. If you are at the point where you want to add your own touches and variations to a model this one works really well for that...

Cheers

Dan

Very nice! The extra details look great! All of those old Monogram 1/24 scale kits are like that, low parts but great fit and nice molded in details that just beg for extra added details.

Every aspect of the build turned out excellent and I like how the carpeted area is detailed. I concur with what Craig mentioned about these old Monogram and it's why I have so many in my collection.

I really dig this. Nice, simple, clean build of a nice and simple kit.

Honestly, it's my favorite of all the Mopar kits Monogram gave us in the 80s.

That bad boy rocks. I have the GTX version I'll be starting soon. I'd always noticed the front bumper mounted too low, you got it just right, it looks WAY better.💯😎

Great looking paint finish and the contrasting interior color looks good. Like the clean original looking body trim and the engine detailing.

Nice clean build.  I like the way you adjusted the front bumper as where it normally sits looks weird to me.

The build is clean as new money, really welll done.

There are some issues in a few these Monogram kits with a 'blocky' look, but when they are this well done, it pretty well goes away.

While I'm not a major Mopar fan, the good part of this series of kits is the easy parts interchange; a 340 'Cuda and Hemi Challenger are just an engine swap, decals and bit of scrounging away.

Moving Hemi/6-packs around the B-Bodies is simple for a nice piece of club night work; I keep walking past the '71 RR but might end up caving in on this trip to the DAAM show.

Fantastic build. Those old monogram kits are still relevant today as they were back then. You did this one justice. Great work.

Thanks for the nice comments... I'm pretty happy with the results on this one

Cheers
