TonyK Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Had wind and rain all day yesterday. Lots of debris from the woods and other trees around us. What a mess. I deal with this a few times a year.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Rained pretty much all night, fairly steadily. My roof tarping of a couple weeks back was about 99% successful. Had one slow drip rather than water ingress at the rate of a half-open faucet. I can live with it.
89AKurt Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Boring almost clear sky and windy yesterday. I had posted about this river crossing earlier when a mini flash food happened, it rained more since that day, lots of new rocks to harvest. Repeat today, 66ºF mid morning. 1
NYLIBUD Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) 🌬️🌬️Windy and on the c🥶ld side.Poured like crazy all day yesterday, and night. Edited November 1 by NYLIBUD
John M. Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Sunny and high 40s today but windy. It feels like the mid 30s outside right now. However, no school for today due to the state and local elections here in Massachusetts. I'm working on a 72 Dodge PU with a cup of hot Joe.
forthlin Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Cloudy & a cold 32F. It's supposed to get to the mid 50's today.
Andria H Posted Thursday at 01:04 AM Posted Thursday at 01:04 AM Windy, rainy, chance of electrical storms/tornadoes.
mk11 Posted Saturday at 12:23 AM Posted Saturday at 12:23 AM Heavy dew this am here in the northwest. Temps back close to 50 through the weekend, so it won't last long
Rob Hall Posted Saturday at 01:09 AM Posted Saturday at 01:09 AM Gloomy, rain and wind and 50s today. Supposed to be cloudy and 40s this weekend, colder with maybe Lake Effect snow on Monday-Tuesday. And a day off Tuesday—good day to stay in bed.
Zen Posted Sunday at 03:44 PM Posted Sunday at 03:44 PM First dusting of snow here in west MI. The local news coverage of first snow is ridiculous, so over blown, like we never had snow before. 1
John M. Posted Sunday at 03:56 PM Posted Sunday at 03:56 PM A wee bit chilly with rain rolling in early this afternoon. A good time to stay home and work on an MPC Dodge stepside PU that needed parts from the old stash.
James2 Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM Oakbrook, Illinois 31deg, cloudy and a frosting of snow at 6:30am.
LennyB Posted Sunday at 10:13 PM Posted Sunday at 10:13 PM Raining almost all day. Ruined a nice day of leaf raking I had planned. 😊
Ace-Garageguy Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM Beautiful day, sunny and warm this AM, got in a nice 2 mile hike. But it started getting windy in the late afternoon with the temps dropping fast. Going to be in the high 20s tonight, which is why I built the friendly feral tabby tomcat an insulated house on the porch, and gave him a dose of flea meds yesterday in case he wants to become an indoor-outdoor cat this coming week. He's 2 now and has lived outside all his life (under the house), but he's become entirely tame, even running to greet my truck when I come home. 3
TECHMAN Posted yesterday at 07:13 AM Posted yesterday at 07:13 AM Just came in from the garage ("the play-pen") where my rescue cat (POKY) lives, was waiting on a propane tank to run out....... Outside temp right now 1:00am, is 26 degrees 😒 Temperature inside the playpen= 64 degrees 😊 Happy cat!!! 😉 Changed out propane bottle, turned heater back on. Radio said 19 for low tonight, and MIGHT get up to 32 for the high tomorrow....... I'm already waiting on warm weather!!!!! DJ 2
bamadon Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago 32 at six this morning with a high of 43 here in central Alabama. Colder tomorrow and I don't like it. But back to the 70's by the end of the week. 1
Rob Hall Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) 32F, snowed over night here in NE Ohio... snowing more now. I can watch the snow coming down from my home office... was just out mulching leaves on Saturday. Still a lot of leaves on the trees. Edited 22 hours ago by Rob Hall 1
forthlin Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Got our first snow last night here in Northeast Indiana. Probably just over an inch. Other than that it's a sunny 35F. Winter is here.
espo Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Pulled out of the garage at 6:30 am heading to the Gym and the cars outside thermometer said 65 degrees coming out of the garage. Half a block to the corner and was reading 45. A 4- or 5-mile drive later as I got to the Gym it was at 14 degrees. Came out 1 & 1/2 hours later and it was then 18. 1:45 pm it is now 36 and they're thinking a high of 38 by this afternoon. The weather app is promising upper 60's the rest of the week and even '70's this next weekend. One thing about living in the middle of the country, if you don't like the weather just wait a couple of days since it will all be different. 1
Rob Hall Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Up to 33F this afternoon, snow changed to graupel and the sun was out briefly.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago We had a few minutes of snow flurries here in the middle of the afternoon. Nobody much noticed, but it happened. Low 23F tonight. Tigger came in, explored for a few minutes, then was howling at the door wanting to go back out. I can kinda understand his point. Being an indoor cat comes with obligations, not just a warm place to sleep.
89AKurt Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Just boring clear skies, no wind, t-shirt weather, no pictures because it's so boring. 🤪 1
